The School Day
What happens at the start of the day?
At Maidenhall the school day begins at 8:20am. This is when the school gates open for children to go to their classrooms to start the day.
Children enter their classrooms through their classroom or corridor doors. These doors open at 8:30am and close at 8:40am. Any child arriving after this time will need to be signed in at the main office.
What happens at the end of the day?
The end of the school day is at 3:30pm for all classes on a Monday to Thursday. Children can be collected from their classroom or corridor doors.
On Friday, school finishes at 1.00pm for all year groups.
This means that the typical school week at Maidenhall is 32.5 hours.
